Lynne MacLachlan’s jewellery plays with light, space and colour, intending to create visual delight for wearer and viewer. Sculptural forms in vibrant colours create ephemeral, shimmering optical effects using the interplay of layered, three-dimensional patterns. By skilfully blending the latest digital 3D printed materials with traditional hand techniques and precious metals, Lynne creates cutting edge contemporary jewellery pieces that are striking but easy to wear. Her work has been exhibited by organisations such as the V&A, the Crafts Council, Craft Scotland, The National Centre for Craft and Design, and has been recognised by awards from the Goldsmiths’ Craft and Design Council.
