Yeena Yoon Studio is interested in the concept of versatile interactive design that explores the relationship between the wearer and the jewellery.
The Covet jewellery set explores the concept of hidden treasure that can shape-shift according to its use. The set is presented as a single sculptural piece from which the individual jewellery elements can be removed to wear. It consists of two to three pieces— a necklace, a ring and/or earrings. When not wearing the jewellery, the sculpture can be displayed as a collectible, and only the owner knows the treasures within.
Covet earrings expand on the idea of jewellery that shapeshifts and engages with the viewer. The earrings have multiple facets which encourage the viewer to engage and see various shapes.
