Christopher Perry designs and makes modern silver tableware.
His aim is to create functional forms through manipulating and deconstructing simple shapes. He uses chasing as an application of texture, drawing the user in to handle these intriguing pieces of silverware. As a craftsman he enjoys the whole process, from the challenge of thinking up ideas to fulfilling his own or a client’s brief, right through to exercising the skill and precision needed using traditional silversmithing techniques to complete the work.
