British jeweller Kate Bajic has over sixteen years experience exhibiting and selling her work in galleries and at exhibitions throughout the UK, Europe and the USA. Kate creates one-off and limited edition pieces of art jewellery which are inspired by and explore the micro world of lichens. Kate hand crafts pieces using precious metals often combined with semi precious stones. Designs evolve through experimenting with composition, playing with contrasting colours and materials, by adding textural details with surface finishes and tiny elements of gold, or creating delicate 3D forms through hand soldering silver wire.
