Caiyang Yin’s work is presented with unique sculptural aesthetics in various materials and themes. During his MA course at the renowned Edinburgh College of Art, he developed his interactive kinetic jewellery collection ‘HEALPER,’ which was presented in silver and colourful silicone rubber. After graduation, Caiyang became an artist in residence at the School of Jewellery at Birmingham City University. There, he polished up his repousée skills that he first learned by himself in 2015 during his senior year in China, applied it in a high relief style in his work, and finally refined and developed his award-winning ‘Face’ collection.
