Katherine Brunacci has always loved ancient jewellery. That an object can be thousands of years old, and sill be as breath-taking as when it was first made excites and inspires her work. Being skilled in an ancient craft and having this connection to goldsmiths of the past she finds incredible. Katherine sees the pieces she makes as artefacts of the future. It is very meaningful to her that each piece created is ‘one-of-a-kind,’ a personal treasure that speaks to the wearer when they discover it, and that will be handed down through the generations.
