Being a keen enameller, Heidi Korkala uses colours to evoke emotion and through exploring the forms and shapes of the landscape, establishing a connection to a place. She creates wearable landscapes to remind her of places far away and each piece becomes a little world of memory and reminiscence. Her pieces are rich in texture, created by the layering of opaque and transparent enamel. When repeatedly fired, the enamel layers sink and rise resulting in organic texture and cells. Sometimes the results can be unpredictable which adds to the excitement of the process and makes each piece unique.

People in the Clouds by Amy Peoples is an aspiring jewellery brand centred around designing bespoke jewellery to improve the wearer’s mental health. Instead of mass-producing items as a ‘one size fits all’ basis, their work is created with each person’s specific happy place in mind. Allowing the wearer to hold a physical connection to said place with them in a subtle, private way – enhancing holistic practices such as mindfulness no matter where they are.

Rachel Adam’s designs capture horsemanship and organic patterns. Growing up in a rural setting surrounded by equestrian adventures provided a haven of inspiration and creativity. She includes equines in her designs by using hoof trimmings as an alternative material for jewellery. All the silver she uses is recycled and the hoof material is ethically sourced.
