Emma Farquharson’s playful, sculptural, minimalist designs explore the rhythmic patterns found in nature such as reflections and shadows on water. Geometric shapes in silver with gold accents repeat and morph suggesting movement. Angular gems are held in statement rings, exposing their individual qualities. The act of making and the process of fabrication are vital to Emma's practice as new ideas emerge out of this process. Traditional gold-smithing techniques combine with wax carved, cast silver rings which feature 18ct gold detail and contrasting textured surfaces. Emma sells internationally and works in London.
