Katie Watson’s work depicts nature’s beauty, and the magnificence that is all around us.
Her making process starts with a walk, she collects anything she finds of interest and uses this as her main source of inspiration.
She looks at the patterns and textures and translates these into metal using the technique of ‘Chasing and Repousse’ which lends itself beautifully to re-imagining these forms in Silversmithing.
