Ellys May Woods graduated from The Glasgow School of Art in 2018. She works predominantly in precious metal—translating her inspiration into silverware and wearable jewellery.
Her work is inspired by interesting architectural structures within Scotland, exploring their linear qualities and angles along with the materials used in their construction. She enjoys creating silverware which is functional yet can sit alone as decorative sculptures when not in use.
