Christopher Perry is a traditionally trained silversmith who has taken on the mantle of artisan through the artistic shapes and forms he elicits from silver. His designs are contemporary yet based on conventional techniques, such as hand chasing, scoring, folding and forging. Last year Christopher won two prizes in the 2021 Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Council Awards for his silversmithing. Christopher applies his design skills to produce a range of silver for the home from Christmas decorations to wonderful tumbler cups. His works can be seen in London’s V&A Museum, Sheffield’s Millennium Gallery and also in several private collections.
